What Really Happened

This case is not based on imagination but on true facts, and more particularly on the dispute between Amgen and Sanofi/Regeneron. The decision resulting from this case caused  a major change in the legal requirements for obtaining a patent for an antibody in the United States in view of the "enablement" requirement.
